Portland Stone Firms (PSF) is the world’s largest supplier of Portland limestone. They manufacture everything from cladding to paving, providing dimension block and bespoke finished masonry. Their work can be seen on landmarks including St Paul’s Cathedral and the Whitehall Cenotaph.

After more than 120 years in business, the existing logo no longer reflected the stature of the product and service. The new mark needed to acknowledge that history while giving the company a visual identifier that could endure the next 120 years.

The bespoke typography carries angled, cut-back strokes, a quiet reference to the craft of traditional stonemasonry.
