Sounds like a great experience, Richard — something I'd be well up for. Thanks for the extra info.

Yeah it was great, very cheap too - everything came to £500 for 6 days (Which included flights / mules / guides / food / transfers / hotels / spending £15 to have my picture taken with a monkey).

It did`nt really take too long, we set off from a place called Imil, a tiny village at the base of the mountain, and hiked up in about 3 hours to the mountain refuge (3000m). The following day we hit the summit (Another 1400m or so) and came back down again.

Our guide, who was about 45, was slightly crazy and literally ran up the the mountain, and even for me at 26 struggled to keep up - he was even worse going down!

Then we spent our final night in Marrakesh sipping Mojitos on a roof terrace. ..highly recommend it David if you like that sort of thing :)

Hi James, thanks very much for buying and reading my book. It's superb to know you found it of use. If you ever have any brand-related questions you think I can help with, feel free to ask.

Richard, nice trip! How long did it take you to reach the top (then get back down)?

Hi David,

I`ve just got back from Marrakesh / Climbing Toubkal (13000ft Mountain in the Atlas Mountains.)

It was a great experience but the begging was crazy in the market. It sure was an experience and I sampled a new (not always very nice) smell around every corner.

I`ve heard great things about Tangier though and plan to go there in the future.

I`ll hopefully do a write up once I`ve sorted out the new website, with pictures too.

Keep up the good work and enjoy your bank holiday,
Richard

Just finished reading Logo Design Love and it was fantastic.

I have a Masters Degree in Product Design and set up a web company last year called Rocket Powered Web Design.

Having a great brand is integral to the website and the company's success.

I thought your book was very generous in the information it shared and to the point with wonderfully insightful words and images. I know that my company and my client's companies are going to be more successful having read it and I thank you whole heartedly.

All the very best,

James Ashford

Although BP should have been more responsible, I think it's a little harsh about what the folks at Greenpeace are doing like they're so perfect. Because in reality, no one is.

Also David, who's Catherine hmm? We never hear anything about your love life? haha

My lighting instructor loves his. They're pretty cheap too compared to a tilt-shift lens.

Thanks very much, Vanessa. I had a great week away, spent with my fiancee and a few close friends. I've yet to sample a World Cup atmosphere, but I'll hopefully make it to a tournament in the near future. "Saffers" — that's a new one for me.

A Lensbaby you say, Jon? Thanks for the tip. I've not seen them before, so will be sure to read-up on the differences.
