It looks like this was posted some time ago, but I really enjoyed the article, and hopefully i’ve implimented some of what you’ve talked about into my site.

Professional, Trustworthy, Friendly — I’d say you hit the nail on the head. Everything is very clean and profession, and the fact that the site is in a blog format that you post to regularly gives me the sense that you are an authority on graphic design topics. That being said, the overall tone of your blog makes you sound like if we crossed paths, we could have friendly and engaging conversation. Nice work.

Thanks very much, David. From time-to-time I’m tempted to change the design, but you’re not the first to say how easy it is to find content with the current layout, and that’s an ongoing issue with blogs — keeping old content visible.

Never saw this post ’til just now.

Professional, Trustworthy, Friendly – 10/10. This blog says that through and through. It’s impeccably designed. I think one of the key features is how helpful the design is in leading the reader towards other information they might be interested in.

My site’s just gone offline. I’m really unhappy with it. I’d like it to say “this guy is an absolute beast, but far too modest and sophisticated to brag about it”, but that simply isn’t the case. So for now I’d be happy with “young, gifted and desperate to improve”.

Hi Darren,

I’ve always liked the simplicity of Indexhibit sites. One suggestion is to further-integrate your blog so the transition is more seamless. Had you thought of WordPress instead of Blogger?

A few tweaks to the site since I last linked it on here so interested in hearing all your thoughts.

Still having issues in older versions of Explorer (who doesn’t!) but since my target market don’t generally use that browser it’s never bothered me too much – true be told I kind of like that it doesn’t work so well in it… kind of like 2 fingers up at IE!

Adrian, I recommend moving off Wix. Showing their advertising on your personal website, for free, isn't a wise move, and I know you can make a better job of it. My personal CMS preference is for WordPress. Good luck.
