I've noticed an increasing amount of ReviewMe posts appearing in my feed reader. The vast majority of which don't have a bad word to say which I can't really grasp the point of.

As far as I know the review is bought before it's published. As long as it meets the minimum word count and mentions certain pages then there's no need to tip-toe around.</description>

I don't think you were too harsh, as you rightly say a website presenting this kind of service needs to have it's presentation nailed on, and for their money they've got a good review from a professional designer.
