Interesting, the article on Gill Sans, I have always hated that font, save for the light faces. It’s just not proportionate for my tastes. I always thought I was just being a snob, but that article brings to light (though promoting another font) the parts of the font i find particularly horrible.

Great collection, David. iA and A List Apart are sites I've recently begun subscribing to and have found them to be great design resources in general. I haven't ever really looked too far into typography beyond my own intuition, but have come across these resources/articles recently: 80 Beutiful Typefaces For Professional Design Great Fonts for Web 2.0

Mig, StumbleUpon’s great, although haven’t been using it too much these days. I’m not sure how long it’d take to create an encyclopaedia, but I reckon there’d be a few grey hairs by then.

Excellent list, David. I sometimes set up my Stumble settings to find such sites but I don’t have the time to create a comprehensible list… That’s really a pity, because they could really use as reference for many web users.

By the way, that gives me an idea: how long do you think it will take to create a Web encyclopaedia where to list only such resources and no crap? I think there is a real need for it. There is way too much useless content on the Web and that makes it really difficult to find genuine resources.
