Increase blog comments and page views

Increase blog comments When was the last time you invited your audience to participate at your site? Better yet, when was the last time you actually asked them to listen to what you had to say?

If you’re anything like I was, you probably answered, “Well, never…”

And until now, I wouldn’t have blamed you.

Now, however, things are different.

Now, I’d blame you because I know of this great little hack that answers both of those questions posed above. Not only will the Subscribe to Comments plugin invite your audience to participate, but it will also give users yet another way to keep up with — and participate in — your site.

To put it another way, this essential WordPress hack will help you get more comments and build a larger, more attentive audience. You can’t lose.

What it does is add a simple check box beneath the ’submit now’ box for comments (stating - notify me of followup comments via e-mail).

Subscribe to comments

Think about it. Aren’t you curious to know what others have to say about your thoughts? Once you leave a comment you’ll then be sent an email when there is a further comment added after yours, with a link to the exact blog post. Having this on your blog will keep your readers coming back for more and will promote debate on what you’re discussing.

People can manage their subscriptions should they wish to unsubscribe at any time. It’s very straightforward.
