Having a break
From next week I’m having a break for a month. From blogging, from work. I’m fortunate to be able to, and it’s one of the reasons why I became self-employed. So you’ll not be receiving regular updates until around Christmas.
I’ve been planning this for some time, which is of course, why I’ve left it until the last minute to ask if you’d like to write a guest post. On the off-chance you’re not out enjoying yourself, or spending time with family, it’s a chance for you to reach my 3,000 excellent subscribers (by RSS and email), and I’ll include a little bit about you/your website. Email me with thoughts.
I can’t promise anything, but if you have a good idea that might generate discussion, I’d love to know.

David – I think this is a very well earnt break. Your blog’s subscriber count has exploded in the past months, and deservedly so. It always astounds me how often I find your insightful comments on blogs around the place, nevermind the updates here!
I hope you have something nice planned for the month, and won’t be spending it all lying infront of the TV! (Just about half the month infront of the TV is more reasonable. ;) )
And guest posting here is an opportunity that a lot of us are going to jump at! Quite a mark to live up to though. If I have a good idea, I might email if I’m feeling up to the challenge (You can then shoot me down as you please. :D )

This is definitely well deserved time off – you enjoy yourself!
I’ve been on something of a hiatus myself recently, in order to catch up with some other important things in life. The break will do you good, its quite refreshing :)
I’m glad you’re taking a break from both – blogging and work, otherwise if you still had to do one of those, you wouldn’t have much break ;-) Will you be doing some traveling during your break?
Guest writing for your blog would be an honour for me. I hope one day I can take a break and ask you to guest write for me. I wonder if you agree ;-)
