Get free Google, Yahoo and MSN sponsorship

Do you want old friends or family to be able to easily find you online? Is your name a common one that you think will never be at the top of a Google, Yahoo or MSN search? Well, here’s a quick and easy way to get yourself a FREE sponsored link at the top of all these search engines.
See the litte red arrow I added to the image above? That’s where my name appears when you search for it using Google. It’s also fourth on the list at the left of the screen (surprisingly there are quite a few David Aireys out there).
Here’s a close-up:

Okay, so it’s not my actual homepage – davidairey.com – but it’s another way to found in the online wilderness.
It’s thanks to a relatively new website called Ziki who sponsors your name on Google, Yahoo and MSN for free. The offer is limited to the first 10,000 subscribers and at the time of writing there are almost 7,200 people on the list (over 1,000 of which are companies).
It’s another social website with the aim of building a community. This is a nice, unique bonus for the first members though, and one I haven’t come across before (the sponsorship I mean).
What can you do when you get there? Well, the idea is that you can store all your profiles in one place, such as your MyBlogLog, your LinkedIn, Blogger, eBay, FaceBook etc. etc. I show MyBlogLog community as well as my Flickr photos, and I’ve added my blog feed so that new posts appear on my own Ziki homepage.
I found out about it through Marc Rapp at his Uniquely the Epitome blog. Thanks Marc.
What do you think about it? A good idea? Just another social networking site? Me, I like it, and I appreciate their kind offer. It took me about five minutes to sign-up and get the sponsorship sorted. If you decide to go ahead and give your name a little more web prominence let me know. Maybe I can learn something new about you.

Great Dave. Thanks. I’m heading over to check out Ziki right now.
If they had an affiliate scheme, you’d be rich by now ;-)

An affiliate scheme would be nice Chris.
