Do you have an eye for typography?

Thanks to Microsoft, Arial is now on millions of desktop computers all over the world. Some typefaces are remarkably similar to eachother to the untrained eye.Take this 30 second test to see if you can tell the difference between the Arial and the ‘trendy’ Helvetica over ten examples.

I’m not even going to tell you what I scored!
Thanks for making me feel like the typographical newb I actually am.
How ‘unlike’ Microsoft though, ‘borrowing’ something in that way.
Whoohoo, scored 9/10!
I never liked Arial, even before being exposed to the world of graphic design…
Fun test. I don’t know which is which but I could tell the
difference between the two. That is why I think there is
an error and that Kayane probably scored 10/10.
The “e” is different in “operating system” and “no-one knows”
yet they should both be Arial.
Sorry for spoiling the fun but it is not so fun if the solution is off

Love your site!
Print both fonts at 72 points and you will see the differences, if any.
They will appear in the counters.
That may be, the exercise, however, was to see it on the screen not to be able to set it in 72 points and then find the difference. Kayane still gets 10 0ut of 10 in my book. You get one point for ingenuity.
