www.davidairey.com has been featured in the October 2008 issue of HOW Magazine — the leading creativity, business and technology magazine for graphic designers. The great news comes hot on the heels of my appearance in Digital Arts. Here are a few photos along with some resources for your online promotion.
The article is called ‘rock your website’, by Lisa Hazen.
Simply having a website is no longer enough. It must be a dynamic destination that acts as a bold advocate on behalf of your design business. Here’s how to take your existing site and make it into the ultimate self-promotion tool.
The screenshot used was lifted before my recent website design change. I’m still much happier with the new look, which is great.

I didn’t see much of a change at all following the Digital Arts mention, but it was still greatly appreciated. :)
You know I’d just gone to my blog reader and thought “Why on earth is David not blogging” (plus several other bloggers have gone quiet).
I thought it might be work load because it’s gone really busy for me lately, hence I did barely any blogs in August. But of course, yes, you are moving - I forgot.

We’ve not been moving but we’ve been renovating in August (so one of my ‘thin on the ground’ August blogs centred around this subject!! :-)
…..plasterers doing rooms, painting, sanding and varnishing floors. Putting up a million Ikea flatpacks for the kids (their room is stunning)… all manner of stuff going on. It’s still going on, but I’ve managed to write 4 blogs already this month, I’m determined to ‘do better’ this month.

If you don’t mind me asking - how did this writer find you? I’ve done many searches on logo design and saw your name near the top (#3 i think) of Google searches, but in a field of literally thousands of designers your work appears in more printed media articles than anyone I’ve seen!
