Closed for breakfast, lunch, and dinner

As you read this, I’m on the beach.
No, not the local Portobello beach, but rather on the glorious beaches of India’s west coast. I thought it was time I sampled a little change of culture, having not been to India before.
I left my laptop behind, and am refraining from computer use whilst away. Instead I’m making use of WordPress’ excellent timestamp feature, whereby you can set a specific future date and time for your article to be published. So I typed this before leaving.
Expect one or two guest authors to be making an appearance, and if you like, I’ll post some photos when I return.
Should you be really missing my regular blog posts, why not check out my featured articles page?
Namaste.

I didn’t know WordPress had that kind of feature,, I can definitely make good use of that.
Oh my God…In India…
Welcome to India.
Contact me….. If you need any help.. :)
I am in Kerala.
OMG, you’re in India? Cool. I’m down here in the south of India. West coast? Why? Come to the south, and you’ll see a lot more than just nature ;)
@Niyaz PK: Meet a fellow Mallu, mate. I’m from Kerala too.
Sounds like an awesome trip, hope you’re having a great time. Can’t wait for some good articles when you get back about finding inspiration in India.
Also, perhaps we could talk about a guest post in the near future?
Good for you David! I hope you have/had a wonderful vacation. As Dustin said, I hope you have many tales to tell when you get back. I look forward to them. :)
I bet this is a bit like traditional mail when you go on holiday … piling up for you when you return.
Hope you enjoyed it… and points for taking a break from the computer.
Welcome to our country! I guess you are in Goa!!
By the way “Namaste” is a bit too formal and it’s better to use this form of greeting when in Northern regions. Down south …you should say “Namaskaaram”. When going eastwards say that with a little Bengali accent “Nomoshkaar”!!
Nowadays we have got used to saying “Hi” and “Hello” more than “Namaste”.
Any ways “Shubh Yaatra” ( Happy and safe journey ) !!

D.Airey, you have to come back, your feed count is dropping. Why do people unsubscribe from a feed if there are no posts? What’s the point?
Wow, I think your feed went up about 900 since yesterday.
Brown Baron,
Thanks a lot bud.
Jermayn,
How was (is) Malaysia? I was there a few years back. Beautiful country.
chipseo,
Good of you to say so.
djahna,
There are quite a few nifty features WordPress has. I don’t know where I’d be without it.
Niyaz,
Didn’t make it to Kerala, or I’d have certainly looked you up. Have you always lived there? I’ve heard it’s a beautiful part of the country.
Sumesh,
Likewise, it would’ve been nice to meet up. Next time eh?
Dustin,
By all means, it’d be a pleasure to host a guest blog post from you. Shoot me an email when you get a chance.
Carol, Adam,
Thanks for commenting, and you’re right, there were so many emails awaiting my return, and I’m just working my way through them.
grafic7,
Your lesson in Hindi is much appreciated! I did spend some time in Goa, and the beaches are superb.
Sarat,
Good of you to say.
Santosh,
I didn’t make it to Bangalore, though it would’ve been nice. No need to apologise for the roads. I’ve been on worse. ;)
Harris,
A few posts must have been stumbled when I was away. Perhaps Leslie’s guest post, or the alphabet image one. That would’ve pushed the feed count up temporarily.
Wow sounds like your having a lot of fun. The photos are great! I run my own business so therefore I’m planning a trip to go some time next year. You gave me great ideas of where to go. Thanks
