Back in May I posted a quick Face Behind The Blog update, giving a little extra interest in the meme. Since then, however, I thought that the idea had slowed and the momentum was gone. That was until Thomas of Technical Blogger sent me a message asking if I was going to update the original list.
Light-drawing and light-writing is getting a fair bit of attention lately. Take these two commercials (below) for Sprint (also seen on Marc Schiller’s blog). Quite creative don’t you think?

This is something that’s incredibly easy, and can increase the visual impact of your comments. I recently mentioned how I’d post this little tip after some of you had a few issues when showing off your business card designs (see the latter comments).
Putting a face to the name of someone you haven’t met helps recognition and adds a more personal feel to your conversations. Blogging gives you a worldwide audience, but the chances of actually meeting the people behind your favourite blogs are slim, so today I’m trying out The Face Behind The Blog meme.
Socksoff is a personal, non-commercial site, no pop-ups, pop-unders, banners or those pesky little ad’s that float across the screen. It first went live on 12th June 2004 with just a small collection of links, and has grown into what it is today, still a small collection of links.
