Blogging tips from blog gurus

If you only had five minutes to ensure you’re making the most of your blog, who would you spend those five minutes with?
Wendy Piersall, of SparkPlugging, has just written a series of posts about the most essential, basic blogging tips you need to know. These tips were discussed during the recent Blogging Elite Retreat that took place in San Francisco, California.
For those of you unfamiliar with the retreat, Wendy won a ticket to attend the event, worth an estimated $5000. She said the networking alone was worth more than that, let alone the presentations and custom tips picked up.
Here are some links to Wendy’s website, where you can read about what went on during her one-on-one sessions with the following blogpreneurs.
Wendy was surrounded people who know exactly how to make money online and turn your blogging efforts into a profit.
Here’s hoping Wendy offers up more blogging tips soon.
I’ve been thinking a lot lately about what I want to achieve with my blogging efforts. I started off simply wanting to promote my skills as a graphic designer, not truly understanding the scope of blogging. My mindset is shifting a little, but where it’ll take me I don’t yet know.
Besides those people listed, whose blogs do you read regularly to keep up with making money online?

John Chow.. thought he started to post how HE made money online rather than helping his readers how to make money online.
Other than that.. none! But I just decided to earn some money via my blog and I will be interested in finding out who this Darren dude everyone is talking about :P
John Chow appears regularly in my feed reader. Fair play to him, especially for breaking into Technorati’s top 100.
Best of luck with your monetizing efforts, ilker! I’ll be keeping an eye on how you’re doing.
David,
I read Wendy’s blog at least twice a day, along with those listed in your post. John Chow, Liz Strauss, Converstations.com, BusinessBlogWire.com, Successfromthenest.com and InstigatorBlog.com all come to mind. There are more though.

Thanks for letting me know, Char.
I too check out Easton’s Business Blogwire and Ben’s Instigator Blog.
Yaro Starak, Andy Beard and Andrew Wee are some others with business blogs I appreciate.
There are many more worth reading and it’s hard to keep up with them all!
David ~ First I want to thank you for stopping over and commenting on MomGadget. It’s nice to see new faces dropping by from time-to-time.
I’ve earned just over $4,000 each of the last three months from my online efforts. Some I attribute to bits and pieces I pick up from Darren Rowse – I was reading Problogger when he was just a wee blogger – and others I pick up through various outlets.
I don’t typically subscribe to too may “make money online” blogs simply because I have this compulsive need to figure things out on my own.
The posts Wendy wrote from her Elite Retreat have sparked a keen interest on my part in the likes of Neil, Lee and Kris.
A great place to pick up information for me is via Netscape.com and then checking out by topic, the latest news. Employment is a biggie for blogging news.
